First EcoSport that I’ve seen on the road. Not too bad; the compact proportions seem somewhat endearing. Personally, I prefer the lower-spec models, as the higher-spec models’ showy big wheels make the car seem like it’s trying to be the “big boy crossover” that it truly just isn’t.

They’re already very popular around here. I wish they hadn’t Americanized / Ford Escape-ized them so much....I much prefer the look of the older Euro models with the rear-mounted spare...at least THAT made them stand out in the Crossover sea...

The spare tire is optional.

Ah, that’s nice then....at least gives it something a bit unique. I still think the facelift has just made it look like they crushed an Escape somewhat though. At least the prior design was s bit more unique!

I wish more crossovers/small SUVs had hatch mounted spares. I love the first two generations of CRV with the rear mounted spare. I’m thinking about finding/fabricating a hatch mount for the spare on my Golf. And a push bar. And tow bar. And mild lift. And AWD swap.
What I’m trying to say is I like tiny trucklets and I wish we had more.
